Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Hours: 14 (4 x 3.5 hours per morning TBC)

Grade: 5

We are looking to employ someone who has experience working with children in a primary school setting to support a child with an EHCP. This will involve working in small groups and supporting the child’s learning within the classroom.

The role will require experience of phonics teaching and early mathematical acquisition, alongside the delivery of small group interventions. You will also need empathy, and the ability to develop the child’s concentration span.

This position is based in a Year 1/2 class and is fixed term, in line with the child’s EHCP funding. The hours will ideally be for four mornings per week, although there is potentially some flexibility around the timing of these. We are looking to employ someone to start as soon as possible, but are willing to hold the start date until September for the right candidate.
