Maths homework this week is a recap of learning from Year 4. Write the decimal numbers in order. Pay close attention to the value of the whole number and the tenths and hundredths!
Spelling homework this week is to make a good start on your Common Exception Word practise. Look in the back of your spelling book for the words you need to practise (the words highlighted you got correct on your recent spelling test). For every five words you practise make sure you choose one you know and four you don't.
You have a list of strategies in the front of your spelling book. Try to use a variety of strategies.
The Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check strategy is a good one to check if you can remember it yet or ask someone at home to test you on the five you have chosen to practise.
