At the start of the school year, parents are informed of their child's draft My Plan and given a feedback sheet to comment on. Following this, any comments can be discussed during Parents Evening and then My Plan targets are adjusted accordingly.
At different points of the year, parents are offered additional meetings with their child's class teacher to discuss new targets as well as reviewing their child's previous targets.
As children become old enough to understand their role in this partnership, specific targets become part of their experience of school and they have discussions with their class teachers about their strengths and areas they find difficult.
