Phonics and Spelling

Teaching children to read at Kingswood

 

We have introduced No Nonsense Phonics Skills which is a multi-sensory phonics programme that incorporates the teaching of reading, spelling and handwriting in a systematic way.  Your child will participate in daily teaching sessions and will also bring home weekly activities for you to do together to support their learning.  Please click on the links below to find out more about phonics and the programme:
