VIPERS
As your child becomes more confident with the decoding of words it is important to promote their comprehension. At Kingswood School we use reading VIPERS to help children develop their comprehension skills.
It would be great if you can refer to VIPERS when you are listening to your child read at home. See below for some suggested questions you could ask. You only need to focus on one skill during a reading session with your child and let us know how they responded.
