Some of you have collected and planted sunflower seeds from school. If you are growing a sunflower, or any other plants at home, look at them closely to see how they are changing.
This week I would like you to learn about the different parts of a plant and what they do. Please look at the PowerPoint and then label the plant on the attached sheet. Alternatively you could draw a picture of your own plant that you are growing and label it.
There are some good resources and further learning challenges on Espresso. Use the login details I emailed to you a few weeks ago and go to Year 1 science where you will find lots to do.
