This week I would like you to focus on sentences. You will be reading and matching sentences and pictures as well as writing sentences yourself. Some of the resources will need to be cut out and can then be reused so you can keep practicing your reading skills. Remember to keep practicing your sound cards and Yeti words. This should include practicing writing them as well as reading them.
Nessy and Espresso are still available and great fun. I have also put a link to online phonic teaching lessons. These lesson videos have been created using the principles of the letters and sounds phonics program we use in school. There are a lot of similar features to the lessons I teach in school so they should be familiar with the terminology.
Your child will need a pencil and paper as they will be required to have a go at writing some words. The videos are around 30 minutes each, which you could break up if required!
