This week I would like you to do an experiment to find if things sink or float. Collect things from around your house and garden. In your Busy Books make a table like the one below.

Draw a picture of each of the items you have chosen and remember to label your pictures. Before you start your experiment make predictions about what you think will happen to each of the items you have chosen. Do you think they will sink of float? Once you have tested each item by putting them into some water add your results to the table. Where there any results that surprised you?
