I am very aware that the reading books your child came home with have most likely been exhausted by now so I have found some online ebooks which can be filtered to your child's colour band. I know these are not the same experience as real books but it is the best solution I could find to keep your child's reading skills going.
Please stick with the colour band your child was on in March to start with and email me on the class email to let me know how they are getting on. I have requested access to another ebook learning platform but it would seem I did so along with the rest of the nation's teachers so it is taking longer than I anticipated! I will email your child's login details to you individually once I receive them.
In the meantime click on the link below and then filter the books by clicking on 'level' and then 'Book band'. Once you have selected your child's colour band it is important to let them choose which book they would like to read. Encourage them to make their judgements on the front cover and titles!
