For the first part of this term our topic will be 'Under the Sea'. To start the topic I would like you to talk to your adults about the sea. What do you already know? What would you like to find out? Write a list in your busy books and ask an adult to email it to me so that I can add your ideas into the planning.

 

 

In addition to this I would like the Year 1 children to find out and learn the names of the world oceans. I have added a PowerPoint presentation and YouTube video below to help you. Once you have found out the information complete the worksheet. Remember to listen to the song lots of times as this will help you learn the names of the oceans.
