The children learn about technology in a two year cycle as they progress through the school.

We also enjoy the opportunity to take part in STEM activities ooutside of the taught curriculum. This year we came second in the Knex Challenge final at Renishaw Engineering.

 

For each Design and Technology project, Key Stages 1 and 2 follow the same process using the Design and Technology Association 'Projects on a Page'. The children use a project booklet which is adapted for each year group. Here is an example of the project booklet used in year two:
