Vacancy 1: Midday Supervisor Assistant (MDSA)

Grade 2 £24, 998 per annum, pro rata

Part time: 5 hours per week term time only

Permanent

Kingswood Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly lunchtime team. Our children are brilliantly behaved and lots of fun to talk to! This role will include supervising the children while they eat their lunch and play outside, alongside putting up and clearing away tables and benches.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Setting up and cleaning the hall for lunch
  • Supervision of the children in the hall whilst eating
  • Providing a safe, fun environment for the children in their classrooms during poor weather conditions
  • Providing an inclusive and engaging environment for children outside during play time
  • Caring for minor injuries and administering basic first aid

Previous experience is not essential and suitable training will be provided where needed. The post is for Monday to Friday 12.00 -1.00pm each day.

Vacancy 2: Teaching Assistant

Grade 5: £28,142 full time equivalent per annum, pro rata

Part time 11 hours per week term time only

Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2027

Kingswood Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is a caring, enthusiastic and committed individual with a real passion for helping children to learn and thrive.

We are a four-class village school at the heart of our community with a friendly and committed staff team, enthusiastic children and supportive parents.

We are looking for someone who:

* Has a relevant qualification and recent experience working in a primary school environment

* Can form positive and caring relationships with all children

* Shows initiative and the ability to be flexible and spontaneous

* Builds good relationships with other members of the staff team, as well as parents and carers

This role will be 8.20-12.00 noon Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings, term time only.

There is a possibility of additional hours for lunch supervision. This can be discussed at interview.

Part-time: 19.5 hours per week, term-time only

8.30-12.00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

8.30-3.00 Thursday
