Remember!

e.g. 18 x 4

1. Multiply the ones (don't forget to regroup if needed)

e.g. 8 x 4 = 32 - I write my 2 in the answer space and regroup 30 ones as 3 tens

2. Multiply the tens (don't forget to add the regrouped digits if you have them)

e.g. 10 x 4 = 40 then added the regrouped 3 = 7 tens

So my answer to 18 x 4 = 72
