Spelling homework will be distributed to spelling groups on Wednesdays. It will be due in on Wednesday the following week (there will be a homework basket if you complete before this).

Spelling homework will have two parts; an activity sheet and spelling practise.

An activity sheet linked to the spellings learnt in class that week will be given to each child. This can be completed on the sheet and handed in - it does not need to be stuck in the English homework book. Please name your sheets before handing in.

The English homework can be used to practise Common Exception Words. Each week there will be a focus set of words to practise. See below for a list of strategies which you can use to practise these words. You can use the same one for each word or use different strategies for each.
