We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupil, George, who has been awarded Primary School Ambassador of the Year by Forest Green Rovers. In recognition of his unstinting support, we were lucky enough to have received a visit from the Academy team today. Alongside presenting George with his medal, the team presented each child in the school with a book in support of the National Year of Reading. 

Following on from the presentation, the Academy players then took time to read with children across the school. The children loved this, and it was incredibly inspiring to see a love of reading being shared with young people of all ages.
