Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Kingswood Primary School, we are passionate about helping all of our pupils make progress, including those with additional needs. As a school, we are passionate about supporting the child as a whole. For those pupils who are on the Graduated Pathway, we know it is important that all parties are involved in deciding next steps. Therefore, we include both pupils and parents/carers in the Assess-Plan-Do-Review cycle.

In our latest Ofsted report, it said, "Teaching and pastoral support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is sharply focused and effective. As a result, pupils with SEND are included in all aspects of school life and learn well. Parents of pupils with SEND typically praise leaders’ communication and responsive approach to their children’s needs."
On this page, there is some additional information about how Kingswood Primary School supports those with additional needs.
If you have any further questions, talk to your child's class teacher in the first instance, .
