“On Monday, Birch class visited ‘We The Curious’, in Bristol. In the morning we went to a workshop where we learnt about Space. During this, we learnt about two stars; one called Rigel and the other called Betelgeuse. We played a game where we had to guess whether the planet nearest to the sun was bigger or smaller than the planet to the right of it. Then we had to get the names of all the planets in order.
After that we had lunch. Once we had finished that we went to the 3D planetarium. We lined up and got 3D glasses. Once we got our glasses we went to get a seat. The man who ran it asked us which places in the universe we wanted to visit during our journey to Space. We went to the polar ice caps, a solar eclipse, Saturn's rings and the meteor belt. We visited all the locations and it felt really realistic. It was amazing.”
