Linked to our English text this week:
Create a map of Dull-on-Sea and add labels to show the locations of the places mentioned in the story. Can you add your own ideas too? (use your geography skills from week 1)
Linked to our map work last week and length work in maths: If you have the means to do so, use a GPS tracker on your next daily exercise walk. Have a conversation about distance and what this means. Let your child look to see how far a km is, as this is often something we cannot do in the classroom! Have a discussion about units, we teach metric in KS1 but all the road signs (see if you can spot some!) are in miles! Let me know how far you walk.
